As the group of youngsters (see previous story) enjoyed a game of outdoor shinny hockey at Silver Creek Golf Course recently, so too did a gathering of family members and friends.
The family members and friends, pictured in above photo, include an old hockey writer, wearing his classic Blind River Beavers jersey, and his young nephew, Owen, sporting Toronto Maple Leafs attire. And dare say, there was also a young family friend, Sammy, who wore a Sudbury Wolves jersey.
The old guy’s daughter, Cara, also donned her skates and took several laps around the outdoor, uncovered rink.
