Cougars climb to 9-1-1
Sault College Cougars of the Division 3, American Collegiate Hockey Association picked up a win and tie on the road against the Michigan State Spartans on the weekend.
Coach Mike Hall’s Cougar men began with a 4-4 tie as Brian Kment made 38 saves for Sault College.
The Cougars then iced an 8-5 victory led by three goals from scoring sensation Ryan Vendramin. Vendramin now has 24 goals on the season.
Sault College has a record of 9-1-1 on the season.
