Championship Knights
Oh, what Knights these are. Make that four Sault Ste. Marie high school hockey championships in succession for the St. Mary’s Knights.
St. Mary’s completed a series rally on Wednesday with a 4-1 victory over the Korah Colts to take the best-of-five set three games to one.
Korah had won the opening game of the series before St. Mary’s won the next three.
Both teams will move on to Northern Ontario Secondary School Association championship tournaments.
St. Mary’s will be part of the NOSSA ‘AAA’ level championships in Sault Ste. Marie next Monday and Tuesday. Korah heads to Sudbury for the NOSSA ‘AA’ category play downs that also begin next Monday.
