Korah corralled in OT

Korah Colts of Sault Ste. Marie came within an overtime goal of returning home with an AA level, Northern Ontario Secondary Schools Association championship.

The Colts took the host Sudbury St. Charles Cardinals to overtime before dropping a 2-1 decision in the NOSSA high school hockey title tilt.

Korah had taken a record of 2-0-1 into Tuesday’s championship game.

Goalie Dawson Hunter and skaters Tanner Matier and Mateo Perri were among Korah’s top players through the four games, according to a NOSSA tournament official.

Hunter was the most valuable player during the 2018-2019, Sault Ste. Marie high school hockey regular season.
