It will be the second seed Korah Colts who will try to dethrone the reigning Sault Ste. Marie high school hockey champion St. Mary’s Knights.

Ty Zachary took care of the scoring and Dawson Hunter provided the shutout as Korah whitewashed the third-ranked Central Algoma Huskies 1-0 on Thursday to sweep the best-of-three, semi-final set.

Korah will face off against St. Mary’s for the city title in a best-of-five series that is slated to begin next Wednesday, February 20 at 3:30 p.m. at John Rhodes Community Centre.

Earlier this week, top-seeded St. Mary’s reserved its ticket to the championship dance by blanking the fourth-place Superior Heights Steelhawks two games to none in the other semi-final series.
