PW Major Hounds edged out
Soo Pee Wee Major AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds won two games and lost three as the Northern Ontario Hockey Association representative at the Ontario Winter Games that were held on the weekend in Orillia.
In all, the Soo team — made up of players with 2007 birth dates — finished fourth out of the eight teams that took part at the pee wee major AAA level.
Via an e-mail sent to Hockey News North by a team rep, members of the pee wee major AAA Jr. Greyhounds include 17 players (Nathan Guizzetti, Drew Allison, Ethan Ferguson, Declan Gallivan, Rylan Fellinger, Candon O’Neill, Tyler Neveau, Coulson Bell, Hudson Chitaroni, Griffen Albert, Carter Huckson, Treyce Moran, Lucas DiBerardino, Deven Jones-McDonald, Brendan Cooke, Nicholas Marson and Carter Nadon) and six coaches (Chris Huckson, Dave Guizzetti, Mark Allison, Steve Quesnelle, Beau Neveau and Mike Gallivan.)
