Having moved up from Division 3 to Division 2 within the American Collegiate Hockey Association has not altered the winning ways for the Sault College Cougars.

The reigning D3 champions began play at the D2 level with a season-opening, weekend sweep on the home ice of Rankin Arena, cuffing the Miami of Ohio University Redhawks by 5-2 and 10-1 scores.

Standout, returning forward Ryan Vendramin ignited the two-game, Sault College victory parade with a seven-goal weekend.

  1. Thanks Randy. We have a very solid team this year with great depth at all positions. This year will be more of a challenge which our players are looking forward to on our 1st road trip this week-end.
