Cougars take tourney title
A first-year entry in the Division 3, American Collegiate Hockey Association, Sault College Cougars have come away as champions of a weekend tournament in Midland, Michigan.
Sault College won all three of its games to take the Schupan Memorial Tournament title.
Thus far in regular season play within the ACHA, the Cougars have a record of 4-0-2 and have been led by the high-scoring likes of forwards Ryan Vendramin and Tyler Brown.
Counting the tournament, coach Mike Hall’s Cougars have a record of 7-0-2 thus far this season.
