Following five straight road tilts, Sault High Blue Devils will finally be at home this weekend.

The friendly ice of Big Bear Arena awaits the Blue Devils in the aftermath of their latest away game, which was a narrow 3-2 loss to the Alpena Wildcats tonight.

Goals by Jack Swan and defenseman Joey Engle were just not quite enough for the Blue Devils in the Tuesday night loss to Alpena.

But the Blue Devils, who began the Michigan high school hockey season on February 10 with a home ice victory, will at last see Big Bear Arena again this weekend for games against Petoskey and Alpena.

Start times are 7:00 on Friday night and 2:00 on Saturday afternoon.

Both games will be broadcast live on local radio station Eagle 95.1 with broadcast brothers Tim Ellis and Clayton Ellis on the microphones.

Sault High now has a record of 2-4 through six games with four still to play before the state playoffs begin on March 15.
