Soo PW Hounds advance
Soo Pee Wee AA Minor Jr. Greyhounds have moved on to Sunday’s semi-final match at the Peterborough Kawartha Lakes Hockey Tournament.
The Soo recovered from a morning loss to win a quarter-final game against the North Durham Warriors this afternoon by a 4-3 margin.
Peter (Bulldog) Gartshore was the goalie of record for the Pee Wee AA Minor Jr. Greyhounds in the win over North Durham and the Soo’s game star was Fernando Corral-Lara.
Gavin Darlow was the Soo’s game star in this morning’s loss to the Peterborough Petes.
The Soo squad began play on Friday with a 2-2 tie against the Oakville Rangers and had another even game in a 1-1 draw with the Northumberland Nighthawks.
