Four straight games on home ice have resulted in four wins in succession for the first-place, pee wee major AA Soo Reps of the Nickel District Minor Hockey League.

A recap of the Reps past four home-ice victories — which boosted their record to a nifty 9-0-1 — is a follows.

SOO 2, COPPER CLIFF 1

The Soo out shot the Copper Cliff Reds by a wide margin only to barely come away with the one-goal victory.

Logan Dearing — on a brilliant solo dash — and Alessandro Parco scored for coach Frank Porco’s well-schooled, well-disciplined Reps.

Copper Cliff created some jitters for the Soo with a late third-period goal but the Reps registered the victory as unflappable goalie Cash Rowswell held the fort with some timely saves, including a last-minute stop.

Skilled, smart, sturdy defenseman Maeson Goulet turned in a soldier of an effort on the Soo blue line with some exceptional recovery work in the Reps end of the rink.

SOO 3, COPPER CLIFF 1

The Soo sent the visitors home to the Copper Cliff with the two-goal decision.

Sam Caruso, James Elliott and Nick Dearing scored for the Soo in support of Reps goalie Sebastien Brassard.

SOO 5, NORTH BAY 1

Speedy, hard-working forward James Elliott led the way in fine fashion with a pair of goals and Nick Dearing, Logan Dearing and Preston Miller tallied solo markers in front of Reps goalie Cash Rowswell, who made a series of sparkling saves.

Although he did not score a goal for the Reps, left winger Sam Caruso stood out with his work on the fore check and back check as part of his effective transition game in helping to shut down the Trappers.

SOO 6, NORTH BAY 4

Alessandro Parco potted a pair of goals and Logan Dearing, Preston Miller, Max Battocchio and Deago Campagna all found range for the Reps.
