Soo Indians are one victory away from matching their win total from the entire 2018-2019 major midget hockey season.

Playing a pair of home games on the weekend, the Indians dropped a 3-0 decision to Lake Forest Prep Academy before rebounding to upend the visitors from Illinois by a 4-2 margin.

Coached by Pat Carricato, the Indians now sport a record of 10-7-0 through 17 outings thus far this season. The Indians had a record of 11-38-9 in 58 games last season.

Chase Tallaire and Logan Millhausen are the goal-scoring leaders for the Indians with seven and six respectively while goalie Gabe Rosek has been between the pipes for six of the victories.

The Indians head out on the road to the Detroit area for a pair of Michigan Amateur Hockey Association games this weekend.
