Yet another high-end player with considerable experience at the junior level has signed on to play with the Sault College Cougars of the American Collegiate Hockey Association.

Brad Thrower, a 1997 birth year forward from Thunder Bay, Ontario, is headed to Sault College.

The 6-foot, 175-pound Thrower played three full seasons with the Thunder Bay North Stars of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League and totaled 58 goals in 155 games.

Thrower joins a pair of other recent commitments to Sault College in forwards Mark Tassone and Austin Rowe. Both played in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League last season — Tassone with the Soo Thunderbirds and Rowe with the Soo Eagles.

  1. This looks to be shaping up as an exciting new way to get a hockey fix here in the Sault. Where can I find a schedule for home games? Or will they have more home games this season? Curious to say the least.
