Triple crown champs!
Northside Toyota Soo Pee Wee Major AA Jr. Greyhounds checked off another championship on the weekend. It was the third major title for the team of 2006 birth year players this season.
Fashioning a triple crown championship season, the Pee Wee Major AA Hounds won the Nickel District Hockey League playoff tournament in Sudbury.
Earlier this season, the Soo squad won the league title and the Northern Ontario Hockey Association Tournament of Champions.
In the latest triumph, the Soo upended the West Ferris Trappers in the semi-finals and the previously-undefeated Sudbury Wolves in the title tilt to return home with yet-another championship.
