Vendramin is ACHA’s best
Local product Ryan Vendramin of the Sault College Cougars is the national player of the year for the Division 2 level of the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
A graduating student at Sault College, Vendramin had an explosive 2019-2020 season in ACHA Division 2 play as the leading scorer with 61 goals, 39 assists, 100 points in just 28 games.
Prior to being named national player of the year, Vendramin was also honoured as ACHA Central Division player of the year, first team all star and first team all American.
Sault College is the only Canadian men’s team in the entire ACHA program.
