Way to go Wildcats!
Maverick and Sons Exteriors Sault Wildcats have returned from Mississauga with an Ontario Women’s Hockey Association, pee wee BB division, provincial bronze medal.
Twenty four teams from throughout Ontario took part in the weekend championship tournament.
The Sault girls won four of five games, including the bronze medal victory verdict.
The provincial bronze medal capped off a season that saw the pee wee BB Wildcats win tournaments championships in Cornwall, Kitchener and Pittsburgh.
Members of the pee wee BB Sault Wildcats include players Annika Babineau, Kyra Carrier, Laura Corrigal, Kyla Dundas, Isabella Fata, Samantha Guido, Haley Howe, Ella Karhi, Mikayla Krezek, Chelsea Kingston, Marina Particelli, Ava Provenzano, Martina Pucci, Aliya Rowe, Caitlin Senecal, Sierra Stefanizzi, and Molly Watson. Staff includes head coach Cale Krezek, assistant coaches Rico Fata, Lucas Provenzano and Denis Paradis, trainer Melissa Watson, goalie coach Ralph Cuglietta and manager Gabe Stefanizzi.
