Almaguin to Sweden
A pair of players from the Greater Metro Hockey League champion Almaguin Spartans have signed pro contracts with a Division 2 team in Sweden.
Defenseman Bryan Austin and forward Britton Whitehead are both headed to Nynäshamns IF in Sweden effective the 2018-2019 season.
Both played four seasons in the GMHL for Almaguin.
