Cubs cuff the Wolves
After losing their first four games to begin the 2019-2020 Great North Midget Hockey League season, the New Liskeard Cubs have won two straight outings.
The latest triumph for New Liskeard was a resounding 15-1 romp of the Sudbury Minor Midget Wolves on Friday.
Tyson Bradford paced the Cubs attack with three goals and two assists while fellow forward Jackson Buffam tallied twice and helped out on two others.
And though, he did not score a goal, defenseman Joshua Kingsbury had five assists for New Liskeard, which got the net win from Zach Prusky, a rookie goalie who hails from Sault Ste. Marie.
When you run the score to such 15 1 a sportsman coach will ease back and not run the score up , one never knows when they will will seek ssuch a favour.
Hey Bill could be the 13 penalties that the losing team had as opposed to 4 on the other side.
Hey Bill if you look you will see 13 penalties as opposed to 4. Spending over half of the game in the penalty box does not help. Maybe this favour should really be a good lesson.
