Hounds draft Noah Boman
The first-ever Ontario Hockey League under-18 draft for players born in 1999 and 2000 is underway and Soo Greyhounds have opted for a local product in the first round.
Picking 18th overall, the Hounds selected 2000 birth-year forward Noah Boman from the Soo Greyhounds of the Great North Midget Hockey League.
The small, speedy centre finished fourth in Great North scoring during the 2016-2017 regular season with 31 goals, 37 assists, 68 points in 32 games.
