Soo Greyhounds have an impressive 9-2-0 record thus far this Great North Midget Hockey League season but they still trail the pace-setting North Bay Trappers.

As the Greyhound midgets have 18 points, the Trappers have 23 from a record of 11-0-1 and have played one more game than the Soo.

Offensively — and despite playing one fewer game than North Bay — the Greyhounds have out-scored the Trappers 72 to 49.

Defensively, North Bay has allowed 17 goals in 12 games and the Soo has permitted 25 markers in 11 outings.

The Greyhounds boast four of the top scorers in the league led by Lucas Theriault with 13 goals, 20 assists, 33 points followed by Noah Boman at 13-15-28, Caleb Wood at 10-14-24 and Camaryn Baber at 11-6-17.

The Trappers boast the top two goalies in the GNMHL — Drew Joyal has a 1.00 goals against average and Joel Rainville has a 1.55 mark.

Samuel Bourdages of the third-place Kapuskasing Flyers leads the league in scoring with 19 goals, 15 assists, 34 points.
