Kapuskasing Flyers of the Great North Midget Hockey League will be holding a three-session camp that begins next week and then extends into the end of the month.

Opening session will be on Tuesday, April 18 with registration at 7 p.m. followed by two hours on ice.

Follow-up sessions will be held on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 beginning at 9 a.m. both days.

Cost per player is $15 per session. To register, e-mail Flyers president Darren Potvin via dpotvin@gmail.com.

The Flyers recently announced the hiring of Glen Denney as their new head coach. He returns to the Flyers after a two-year absence, taking over from Pat Millette, who resigned his position for family and work-related reasons.

Kapuskasing finished a strong fourth in the seven-team Great North during the 2016-2017 regular season before advancing into the second round of the playoffs against the top-seeded North Bay Trappers.
