New look for Kap Flyers
Kapuskasing Flyers of the Great North Midget Hockey League will sport a new-look jersey in addition to having a new major sponsor effective the 2017-2018 campaign.
The Flyers new sponsor is Eastview Chevrolet and the team will add the name of its new benefactor to its moniker. The Great North team will be known as the Kapusaksing Eastview Chev Flyers.
In addition to the new major sponsor, the Flyers have also unveiled new jerseys for the 2017-2018 season.
The new duds feature a mix of a vintage look combined with a new and fresh perspective.
The home and away jerseys (dark blue and yellow respectively) feature the word “FLYERS” printed diagonally across the front and bear the Eastview logo on both shoulders and smaller versions of the team’s previous logo on the back.

The jerseys are OK. Maybe they’ll push for an NOJHL franchise, but the league already stands at 12 teams, so maybe 14 will be great.
