Soo major midgets so far
Mike Creedon, who is the general manager of the Soo Major Midget Thunderbirds, has confirmed the commitment of two goalies, four defensemen and nine forwards to Hockey News North ahead of the 2018-2019 Great North Midget Hockey League season.
The Soo major midgets are slated to begin the 2018-2019 campaign with a pair of home games this Friday (8:30 p.m. at GFL Memorial Gardens) and Saturday (12:30 p.m. at John Rhodes Community Centre) against the Timmins Majors.
To date, these are the 15 Soo major midget players, with their position and year of birth.
Goalies: Andrew Uschenko 2001; Noah Zeppa, 2002.
Defensemen: Don Davidson, 2001; Levi Morrison, 2001; Michael Barone, 2002; Beau Neveau, 2002.
Forwards: Cole Ambeault, 2001; Kurtis Rogers, 2001; Brock Santa Maria, 2002; Michael Chaffay, 2002; Nick Jameus, 2002; Nick Niro, 2002; Issac Parise, 2002; Jacob Sewell; 2002; Nathan Fortin 2002.
The Soo major midgets can still sign five more skaters as all teams in the Great North are allowed a 20-player roster.
