Soo midgets eliminated
Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves have advanced to the Great North Midget Hockey League finals by virtue of a 4-0 blanking of the Soo Greyhounds this afternoon.
Matt Dokis Dupuis scored once and assisted on two others and Alex Vendette posted the shutout as the visitors from Sudbury took the best-of-five semi-final playoff in four games.
Sudbury will meet the winner of the North Bay Trappers/Kapuskasing Flyers series for the Great North crown.
Kap forced a fifth-and-deciding game in its series with North Bay with a 5-0 win on Saturday.
Game 5 is set for Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens in North Bay.
