Fresh from a strong 2013-2014 campaign in which the Michigan Warriors captured the North Division title and advanced to the Robertson Cup semi-finals, the North American Hockey League team is looking to add new talent to its 2014-2015 roster.

Ergo, the Warriors will play host to an open tryout camp that begins on Thursday of this week and carries on until July 24.

The camp is being held at Iceland Arena in Flint, is open to the public and is free to attend.

“We’re looking for young men of strong moral character who want to work hard and take their careers to the next level,” said veteran Warriors coach-general manager Moe Mantha.

“We have graduated players to NCAA D1 and NCAA D3 college hockey programs from our roster in each of our four years in the NAHL. We expect a high level of competition for our open roster spots and feel that will help us put on a great show for the fans this fall,” added Mantha, who has a player, toiled for 12 seasons as a grizzled National Hockey League defenceman.

Warriors 2014-2015 season tickets are on sale now at a summer special price of $144 for adults and $126 for youth and seniors.
