Monday night in Milltown

It will be a rare Monday night match in Blind River this evening when the Beavers play host to the Soo Eagles in a 7:00 start.

Blind River is in third place in the West Division of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League with 35 points from a record of 15-11-5.

As for the Michigan Soo, it is fourth in the West with 27 points from a record of 13-17-1.

The Beavers have three forwards — Caleb Serre, Riley Nadeau and Brendan Young — who are tied for the team scoring lead with 35 points apiece. Blind River also features high scoring defenseman Ryan Mulligan, who has 23 points in 29 games.

Meanwhile, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario product Caleb Wood leads the Eagles in goals with 15.
