New bunch for the Crunch

A trio of newcomers has signed on with the Cochrane Crunch of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League, coach-general manager Ryan Leonard has confirmed to HockeyNewsNorth.com.

The troika includes seasoned defenders Noah Bennett and Ricky Regala and goalie Kyle Henderson.

Bennett has experience at the Ontario Hockey League level with the London Knights and with a number of teams in the Greater Ontario Jr. Hockey League. He has also played in the Superior International Jr. Hockey League and had prior stint in the NOJHL with the Powassan Voodoos.

The American-born Regala, who heads to Cochrane from his home, deep in the heart of Texas, has played in both the North American Hockey League and the North American 3 Hockey League.

Henderson’s background includes playing time spent in Michigan and with the North York Rangers of the Greater Toronto Hockey League.

Bennett and Regala both have 1997 birth dates while Henderson was born in 1998.
