A single goal is what has separated Rayside Balfour Canadians and Soo Eagles in all three of their Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League playoff games.

And all three games have resulted in wins for Rayside Balfour.

The latest was a 3-2 overtime victory for the visiting Canadians on Thursday night.

Veteran forward Evan Krassey scored the winning goal 55 seconds into OT to lift the Canadians to victory and a three games to none lead in the best-of-seven, West Division, semi-final series.

Game 4 goes tonight with a 7:30 start at Pullar Stadium in the Michigan Soo.

Rayside Balfour took Games 1 and 2 at home by scores of 2-1 and 1-0.

In other semi-final playoff action from Thursday, Powassan Voodoos took a 3-1 series lead in their East Division set with the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners with a 3-1 home-ice triumph.
