Soo Eagles to Lawrence Vikings
Productive forward Reed Gregory, who netted 20 goals, 21 assists, 41 points in 43 games for the Soo Eagles of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League during the 2015-2016 season, has a Division 3, National Collegiate Athletic Association commitment for the 2016-2017 campaign.
Gregory, who has a 1995 birth date, is headed to play for the Lawrence University Vikings. Lawrence University is located in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Eagles co-coach/general manager Bruno Bragagnolo told HockeyNewsNorth.com that Gregory is a good fit for Lawrence.
“We have had a number of our players attend Lawrence over the last three or four years and they have all done well and enjoyed their experience there,” Bragagnolo began. “Reed is a very dedicated player who should fit in well and contribute to the program right off the start. The Soo Eagles organization is very happy for him.
“Reed is another of well over 50 players the Eagles have sent to NCAA programs over the past six years,” Bragagnolo noted, with pride.
