Soo T-Birds to BR Beavers

The top two teams in the West Division of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have finalized a trade, HockeyNewsNorth.com has confirmed.

The one-player deal sends 1998 birth year defenseman Ryan Mulligan from the first-place Thunderbirds to the second-place Beavers in a cash exchange.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Mulligan, who is in his third season in the NOJHL, had 1 goal, 8 assists, 9 points in 32 games with the Thunderbirds thus far in 2017-2018.

  1. Surprised they dealt Ryan to Beavers in own division. Ryan is a solid puck moving D, real smart penalty killer. His biggest contribution will be how good a teammate he is, and dressing room guy. Great addition, good luck Ryan.
