The Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League foes will take to the ice of venerable Pullar Stadium in the Michigan Soo tonight for a slated 7:30 p.m. match.
Having lost three straight games, the Thunderbirds nonetheless are in second place in the West Division of the NOJHL with 27 points from a record of 13-6-1.
The Eagles, meanwhile, are fourth in the division but with a record of 12-8-0, they trail the T-Birds by a mere three points.
Pint-sized puckster Nick Smith leads the T-Birds in scoring with 15 goals, 7 assists, 22 points. Noah Solinger also has 22 points for the T-Birds, 17 of which are assists.
Nick Techel is tops on the Eagles scoring chart with 12 goals, 22 assists, 34 points. Following him are fellow forwards Christian Bardarson with 15-17-32 totals, Kobe Keller at 11-14-25 and Jake Palmerio at 11-8-19.
