Voodoo magic continues to consume the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League. As in 20 victories in a row for the Powassan Voodoos.
Powassan’s latest victory was a tough 4-3 shootout decision over the French River Rapids.
The Voodoos have outscored the opposition by a 102-37 margin over the length of the 20-game winning streak.
Still, with a record of 22-1-0, Powassan isn’t running away with the East Division of the NOJHL. Second place Timmins Rock has a record of 17-2-2 and has two games in hand on Powassan.
