Opening games in all eight first-round Ontario Hockey League playoff sets are in the books. And the Owen Sound Attack is the only team to have won on the road.

Sparked by two goals from Maksim Sushko — including the game winner in overtime — and 43 saves from Mack Guzda, Owen Sound stole the series opener from the Soo Greyhounds by a 4-3 margin.

Owen Sound finished in sixth place in the Western Conference during the regular season, 28 points back of the Soo.

Game 2 in the best-of-seven, Western Conference quarter-final is slated for tonight at GFL Memorial Gardens with a 7:07 start time.

Elsewhere in the Western Conference playoffs, London Knights have a 1-0 series lead on the Windsor Spitfires as do the Saginaw Spirit on the Sarnia Sting and the Guelph Storm on the Kitchener Rangers.

In the Eastern Conference, the Ottawa 67s are up 1-0 on the Hamilton Bulldogs as are the Niagara IceDogs on the North Bay Battalion, the Oshawa Generals on the Peterborough Petes and the Sudbury Wolves on the Mississauga Steelheads.
