CCHL Nepean to OHL Flint

Flint Firebirds of the Ontario Hockey League have gone to the Nepean Raiders of the Central Canada Hockey League to hire a new associate coach.

Darcy Findlay heads to Flint to take over from Paul Flache on the staff of Firebirds head coach Ryan Oulahen. Flache recently resigned his position with the Firebirds to be closer to his family in Atlanta.

Just 30-years old, Findlay nonetheless has two years of head coaching experience with Nepean in what is a high-end, tier 1 junior CCHL.

As a player, Findlay skated at the Division 1, National Collegiate Athletic Association level with Bemidji State University, where he made the all-academic team three times.
