Maybe, just maybe, the number 13 will prove to be lucky for the Flint Firebirds. Flint, which has a record of 0-12-0 to begin the 2018-2019 Ontario Hockey League campaign, will try for its first win tonight in its 13th outing of the season.
The Firebirds need a win. The Firebirds want to win. And even personnel from other OHL teams are telling me they are desperately rooting for Flint to win its first game of the season sooner than later.
Well, soon is tonight when the Firebirds play host to the Sarnia Sting.
