It only took rookie forward Nicholas Porco four games to score his first Ontario Hockey League goal for the Saginaw Spirit.

Porco, a Sault Ste. Marie native who Saginaw took in the first round, fourth overall, at the 2017 OHL draft, found the back of the net for his first OHL marker in a 6-3 Spirit loss to the Guelph Storm on Saturday night.

The 6-foot, 170-pound Porco was the most valuable player in the minor midget, Greater Toronto Hockey League while skating for the Vaughan Kings in 2016-2017.
