Flint to Kitchener
Kitchener Rangers have traded four draft picks to the Flint Firebirds for overage forward Kole Sherwood, HockeyNewsNorth.com has confirmed.
Sherwood was one of five overagers on the Flint roster, having just recently returned to the Firebirds from the National Hockey League farm system of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
In exchange for Sherwood, who netted 33 goals, 52 assists, 85 points for Flint in 2016-2017, the Firebirds get a second-round pick in 2019, a second-round pick in 2020, a third-round pick in 2021 and a fifth-round pick in 2020 from Kitchener.
