Soo Greyhounds have traded for journeyman goalie Mario Peccia, acquiring the 1999 birth year puck-stopper from the Oshawa Generals for a 12th round pick at the 2021 Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft.

Peccia, who has played in 22 games over parts of two OHL seasons, suiting up for both Oshawa and the Kingston Frontenacs, had been tending twine with the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots of the Ontario Jr. Hockey League this 2018-2019 campaign.

He becomes the third goalie on the Greyhound roster joining injured veteran Matthew Villalta and rookie Ethan Taylor.
