Cameron Lamour is getting another shot at playing in the Ontario Hockey League. The 19-year old goalie, who had been tending twine in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League for the Rayside Balfour Canadians, has had his OHL rights transferred to the North Bay Battalion from the Sarnia Sting.

North Bay has sent Sarnia a conditional 11th-round draft pick in 2022 for Lamour. The lanky goalie was originally a third-round pick by the Saginaw Spirit from the Sudbury Minor Wolves of the Great North Midget Hockey League at the 2016 OHL priority selections draft.

Lamour was immediately pressed into service as the starting goalie today with North Bay playing host to the Owen Sound Attack.
