Big OHL season-ticket savings

Jeff Hunt, president of OSEG Sports, which is the ownership group of the Ottawa 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League, says it’s all about the fans..

And Hunt and OSEG believe that they are offering 67’s fans the most-affordable season-ticket prices in the entire OHL.

After unveiling what they referred to as a “family-friendly home schedule” earlier this summer, the 67’s today released season-tickets pricing for the 2016-2017 OHL season that are now on sale.

Season tickets are available starting at $325 — a price that offers 67’s fans a whopping 50 per cent savings off single-game, gate prices.

Of note, the 67’s take to the ice at The Arena at TD Place on Sunday, September 25 at 2 p.m. for the first of their 25 weekend afternoon, regular-season home games.

Other features being offered by the 67’s for home games this season include:

— an expanded Kids Zone.

— minor hockey players will continue to get in for free as part of the 67’s Prospects Program.

— fans will have access to free parking and bus transportation from Carleton University to The Arena at TD Place.

67’s fans can purchase their season tickets by calling 613-232-6767, ext. 1 or visiting the box office at TD Place.

What you think about “Big OHL season-ticket savings”

  1. At least Jeff Hunt cares about his team and isn’t in just for the money. He is one of the best owners in the CHL, and he will keep doing whatever he can to make fans happy and players happy. Good for you Jeff Hunt. Keep up the great work.

  2. In North Bay the Battalion go the other way…no redemption nites…..no ex games are included….no special draws for season tix holders..cheaper prices but if you miss several games you are paying about the same as walk in fans….

  3. 67s have to compete in the Senators drawing area so a deal of some sort is both necessary and good business.
Have to agree with donaldson’s post above – the Battalion offer their STHs next to nothing. I understand operating in a small market means keeping an eye on the bottom line but their base should feel that buying season tickets comes with at least a few perks.

  4. Sounds like 325 is a good deal. In North Bay we pay just under 600 for an adult season ticket no matter where you sit. Only thing is our parking is free and easy to access while Ottawa is busy and very cramped and cost is 5 dollars. I would hate to try and park at the arena and wait in lines every game to pay for parking or take the bus from Carlton. I would rather pay a little more and have free parking, like it used to be in Ottawa before then renos.
