Anthony Stefano traded to Windsor

Peterborough Petes have dealt 1996 birth-year forward Anthony Stefano to the Windsor Spitfires.

Stefano, who is in his second Ontario Hockey League season, had requested to be traded from the Petes.

Along with Stefano, the Spitfires will receive a second-round pick in 2015.

In return, the Petes will get a second-round pick and a fourth-round pick in 2016, an eighth- round pick in 2018 and a second-round pick in 2020.

All together, Stefano — who was selected by Peterborough from the Soo North Stars of the Great North Midget Hockey League in the fifth round of the 2012 OHL draft — had 19 goals, 33 assists, 52 points in 97 regular-season games with the Petes.
