Spirit of northern Ontario

Four northern Ontario products who are on the forward lines of the Saginaw Spirit have combined for eight points in four games thus far this 2017-2018 Ontario Hockey League season.

Damien Giroux and Maxim Grondin have both tallied 1 goal, 2 assists, 3 points thus far.

Meanwhile, Nick Porco has scored a goal and Danny Katic has picked up an assist.

Giroux hails from the Sudbury area, Grondin calls Hearst home, Porco is a Sault Ste. Marie boy and Katic is from the Timmins area.

Giroux, Grondin and Katic were all Saginaw draft picks in 2016 while Porco was picked by the Spirit in the first round of the 2017 priority selections process.

    I have not forgotten about Chad but this particular article just deals with the northern Ontario boys who skate for the Saginaw Spirit.
