Frequent trade partners Saginaw Spirit and Mississauga Steelheads have completed another Ontario Hockey League transaction, Hockey News North has confirmed.

In a deal consummated today, Saginaw shipped overage defenseman Hayden Davis and a conditional draft pick to Mississauga for the rights to 2001 birth-year defender Marshall Warren and future third, fourth and fifth-round draft selections.

Warren skated for the United States National Team Development Program in 2018-2019 and was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the sixth round of the recent 2019 National Hockey League draft.

Saginaw and Mississauga made four separate trades with each other over the course of the 2018-2019 season, exchanging high-end players such as Albert Michnac, Reagan O’Grady, Ryan McLeod, Owen Tippett, Aidan Prueter and Duncan Penman — plus numerous draft picks — in the process.
