Reigning Ontario Hockey League champion Guelph Storm ushered in the 2019-2020 regular season on Friday with a ceremony that included the presentation of the J. Ross Robertson Cup.

The Robertson Cup is awarded annually to the OHL champion as a tradition that began in 1934.

At any rate, fans of the 2019 OHL champions from Guelph got to see the Robertson Cup up close on Friday night. And some fans got to pose with the celebrated trophy.

One fan, pictured above with the Robertson Cup, is long-time Storm season-ticket holder David Cameletti.

Cameletti, who is a lawyer, grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and practiced law in the Soo for a number of years before moving to Guelph with his family.
