One day after announcing that David Matsos will not be returning as head coach next season, Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League have decided on a new bench boss.

The Wolves will show off their new head master at a press conference that is slated for Thursday morning at 10:30 at Sudbury Community Arena.

There are two openings to fill on the Wolves coaching staff following the simultaneous departures of Matsos and associate coach Barry Smith. The new head coach will have a say in who his associate coach will be.

Sudbury native Darryl Moxam has been retained as the Wolves assistant coach for the 2017-2018 campaign.
