Soo Greyhounds have cashed in on holdout goalie Joseph Raaymakers by dealing him to the London Knights for netminder Tyler Johnson and three draft picks.

Raaymakers has yet to play this 2017-2018 Ontario Hockey League season after requesting a trade from the Greyhounds prior to the start of training camp.

In addition to getting Johnson for Raaymakers in a swap of 1998 birth year goalies, the Greyhounds also get a second-round pick in 2019, a second-round pick in 2023 and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2020 from London.

Subsequent to the trade, the Greyhounds have released overage goalie Connor Hicks.
