Fighting Irish tryout camps

Detroit Fighting Irish of the U.S. Premier Hockey League’s elite junior division has scheduled three major camps for this summer.

Up first is a free agent evaluation open camp slated for June 11 and 12 at a cost of $60 per player.

Following that will be an open tryout and evaluation camp on July 9 and 10 at a cost of $60 per player.

Then there will be a training and invite-only tryout camp on August 1, 2, 3 and 4.

All of the camps will be held at the Brownstown Sports Center under the direction of veteran Fighting Irish coach-general manager Dan Vasquez.

  1. If I were of age, I’d pay the $60 just to play to try out and play scrimmages for shits and gigs, If I made the team. I would be like “I actually just paid the 60$ to play hockey this weekend. I’m good, but thanks for the opportunity”
