Two Irish leaders
Detroit Fighting Irish of the U.S. Premier Hockey League’s Elite Division will have the services of two more veteran skaters for the 2016-2017 season.
Fighting Irish coach-general manager Dan Vasquez confirmed to HockeyNewsNorth.com that 1996 birth-year forwards Nolan Jakzrewski and Steven Sewell will both return to the USPHL team for their final season of junior hockey.
Both will also serve as assistant captains for this season.
This will be Jakzrewski’s fourth season with the Irish and Sewell’s third.
