Storm in Iroquois Falls
There is a Storm brewing in Iroquois Falls. The transferred Cochrane Crunch of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League has been renamed as the Iroquois Falls Storm.
The NOJHL’s board of governors just recently approved the ownership transfer request to Iroquois Falls from Cochrane. The towns are separated by about 30 miles along Highway 11.
And team owner and president Tom Nickolau has confirmed to Hockey News North that the relocated team will be known as the Iroquois Falls Storm.
