Flyers sign a Canuck
Canadian-born goalie Matt Brunton has signed with the Michigan-based Alpena Flyers of the U.S. Premier Hockey League.
Brunton, who has a 1997 birth date, hails from Delta, British Columbia.
He played high school prep hockey in the United States in 2015-2016 for Coeur D’Alene Academy.
“Finding quality goaltenders is always challenging,” said Alpena head coach Russ Anderson. “Matt will give us a solid foundation in goal as we continue to build our team from the goal line outward. We are excited to have him coming to Alpena.”
